The Autism Awareness series officially ended yesterday and now it’s time for me to get creative again with the thank you cards.
However, after spending one month creating cards with only puzzle pieces, I’ve got to learn how to redirect my creative juices and inspiration. That’s usually what happens when a creative person spends enormous amounts of time and energy devoted to one project, especially a client’s project. You have to learn how to step back and see life again from another vantage point in order to get going. At least it’s that way for me.
So, I decided that I would have to use a color palate that wasn’t used in the Autism Awareness series. All I saw and used was red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and black occasionally.
Now it’s time to spice up the cards going forward.
Today I opted for a gray and white card focused on typography. The design may not seem exciting, but when you just come off of working a 30-day series in your own design challenge, you’re entitled to design what you want.
Just wait until you see what I come up with tomorrow…even I don’t know yet.
