It was 90 degrees today, and someone turned up the humidity to full blast. The funny this is that summer is close to being over, and Labor Day is this weekend, but it feels like an oven around here.
My hair has grown two sizes and if I don’t contain, it will get frizzy. And yes, I have big hair today. Tomorrow’s not going to be any better as it will be 91 degrees plus humidity. At least I’ll have a chance for one last trip to the pool before it closes. 😦
Okay, let’s get on with the card which is inspired by an artist’s work. It wasn’t the work itself that inspired me, but the layout of the photos and colors. The artist took a photo of their work and it was showing them on an angle. The artwork was white nature shapes such as leaves and feathers on blue paper – the work is called “sun prints”. I’ve never heard of sun prints until today and I have no idea what it is, except to guess that it’s another form of creating art.
Anyhow, I used the colors and directions of the picture to create today’s Thank You card.
Here it is!
