Day 55: Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles everywhere

When I was a kid growing up, one of my favorite summertime activities was blowing bubbles.

You know what I’m talking about?

It was the plastic brightly colored bottle and a cool looking wand that when dipped in the bubble solution and then flicked through the air, dozens of bubbles would fly around you. They were pretty to look at and fun to see how many you could make at one time.

If I had a bubbles right now and it wasn’t cold and dark outside, I’d make some bubbles.

Anyhow, the idea for bubbles popped into my head because I’m working on a logo for a client right now that wants to incorporate water in their logo identity somehow. I had to take a break from working on it to make my card and clear my head, but I guess my subconscious is telling me that maybe I should incorporate a bubble somehow. Or, it could be the design style to use – very illustrative with gradients an all. I very rarely use gradients in my logo work, but on a rare occasion they make an appearance into the design.

Check out today’s card and tell me if you can find the hidden message.
