Day 97: Getting it done before the big game

Last week my schedule was thrown off course because of March Madness, work, and an important event yesterday. So, I missed a few days of getting a card done because of it.

Tonight is the NCAA Final Basketball Champion!

Kentucky is up against the UConn Huskies to win their 9th Final Four game!

It’s a BIG deal!

Most people didn’t think UK would make it into the Sweet 16, let alone the championship game. But here they are…going to win another championship for the school and UK fans.

I’m an alumni – so that makes me an automatic fan.

Anyhow, I didn’t want my crazy work and basketball schedule to get in the way of today’s card. So, I got it done early.

It’s another one for the Autism Awareness series.

Day 88: I bleed Blue!!!!! Wooo Hooo!!!!

Today’s card is late because if you’re not a college basketball fan, then you have no idea what just happened tonight.

Two of the biggest rivals went head to head in a battle for a spot in the Elite 8 during March Madness.

University of Kentucky Wildcats battled it out against the University of Louisville Cardinals on the Lucas Oil Stadium Court in Indianapolis, IN.

UK started out behind UofL the entire first half. When halftime was over, it was on to see which Kentucky team would win: UK or UofL.

After trailing 13 points behind UofL for most of the second half, UK made some amazing shots sending the score past UofL.

The last 15 seconds of the game were nail biting as we waited to see if UK would take it or go home with their heads hung low down in shame.

Well, with just 2.3 seconds left in the game, UK had a major come back and managed to win the game: 72 to 69.

Louisville lost!!!!!!!!!!

Wooo Hooo!!!!!!! UK is on to the Elite 8 and will play Michigan on Sunday night for a spot in the Final Four.

Today’s card is dedicated to all the wonderful UK alumni, students, faculty, staff, and most importantly, the fans.

GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!
